If you're looking for a tropical twist on the classic Italian dessert, look no further! This Mango Tiramisu is light, fruity, and perfect for summer.

Follow these easy steps to create a delicious treat that will impress your friends and family.

Ingredients:

For the Mango Puree:

  • 3 ripe mangoes

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust based on the sweetness of the mangoes)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the Cream Layer:

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Assembly:

  • 1 pack of ladyfinger biscuits ( biscuit à la cuillère or Boudoir)

  • 1/2 cup mango juice or mango nectar

  • Fresh mango slices for garnish (optional)

  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Mango Puree:

Peel and chop the mangoes.

Place the mango pieces in a blender along with the sugar and lemon juice.

Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness if necessary. Set aside.

Prepare the Cream Layer:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture on medium speed until it becomes thick and creamy. This should take about 3-5 minutes.

Once done, set aside.

Assemble the Tiramisu:

Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the mango juice or nectar. Be careful not to soak them too long to avoid sogginess.

Arrange a layer of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish or individual dessert cups.

Spread a layer of the mango puree over the ladyfingers.

Follow with a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture.

Repeat the layers (ladyfingers, mango puree, mascarpone cream) until you reach the top of your dish or cups. The final layer should be the mascarpone cream.

Chill:

Cover the tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.

Serve:

Before serving, garnish with fresh mango slices and mint leaves if desired.

Enjoy your tropical Mango Tiramisu!

Tips:

Make sure to use ripe and sweet mangoes for the best flavor.

You can prepare the tiramisu a day ahead to enhance the flavors.

For an extra touch, sprinkle some shredded coconut on top before serving.
